Anna is going to need to be trained to sense magical energy.  She could then sense the presence of any of the Guardians and thus know that they exist. Either that or one of the Guardians could pick up a pencil and a piece of paper, write a description of themselves, and tell Anna that if she believes in them, she will see them.
